Do we need a MobilePay business account?
Yes, your mosque needs a MobilePay merchant account (via Vipps MobilePay) to receive payments. If you don't have one yet, our team will guide you through the application — most mosques are up and running within a few days.
What does the MobilePay integration cost?
MobilePay charges its own merchant fees per transaction. On top of that, Masjida adds a small platform fee depending on your plan — from 0.9% to 1.5%. There are no setup or monthly fees for the integration itself.
Can people donate without creating an account?
Yes. Anyone can donate through your mosque's public website using MobilePay — no Masjida account or membership required.
Is the MobilePay integration GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Masjida never stores card or bank details — payments are processed by MobilePay, and all data is hosted in the EU under strict GDPR compliance.
